Corner Crimpers

Corner crimping machines are used to join 90° corners on aluminum window and door frames. Crimping is a better option than inserted fasteners for producing an appealing appearance and for providing superior structural stability of the frame. Corner crimpers provide a workpiece support surface, a die which supports the inside of the corner to be crimped, and two heavy “blades” that perform the actual crimping operation from the outside edges of the window corner. The aluminum frame material is crimped over a design feature on the connector plate that provides the corner with its rigidity.
